In Remembrance: Frank J. Morgan ’47 Died on October 15 2022

Businessman and philanthropist Frank J. Morgan passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022 in Barrington, Illinois. He was 97. He served in the Navy before Yale and later attended Harvard Business School. After working with several manufacturing companies, he joined the Quaker Oats Company in 1964, where he remained for 26 years — eventually serving as president and COO until his retirement in 1990.

Frank had recently celebrated his 97th birthday and the 75th anniversary of his graduation. His son Mark wrote that Frank “was always a Yale Bulldog, even proudly wearing his Yale hat out to his coffee club every Saturday morning.”
