In Remembrance: Arne Lewis ’54BFA Died on November 22 2023

Arne Lewis passed away on November 22, 2023. He was 90.  Lewis trained as a painter and enjoyed a long, distinguished career as a graphic designer, art director, and associate creative director. In addition to owning and operating several New York City design studios, he was a partner in a boutique ad agency.

Later in life, Arne returned to his first love, painting. A life member of the Art Students League, he was known and appreciated for his constructive critiques to numerous adult students, helping them to achieve their artistic potential.

Arne is survived by two sons and a brother.
