In Remembrance: R. Stanton Wettick Jr. ’63LLB Died on December 21 2024

R. Stanton “Tony” Wettick passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 86. He had a long and distinguished career as an attorney, and served notably as a common pleas court judge in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, for 40 years.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette carried a full obituary on December 24, 2024.

    Tony was my boss at Neighborhood Legal Services in Pittsburgh PA. A good and decent man. Ran the Program with one goal, helping out clients. Private counsel scoffed at the “charity” representation. But it was energizing and fun to help good people who needed it. Tony would regularly meet with the lawyers, and his quick mind always helped, as most of us were recent law grads. He was and is memorable. Lawyers helping people. Neat idea. Ellis Saull
