ObituariesIn Remembrance: Roger Stillman Bender ’36 Died on September 21 2013Roger Stillman Bender, 98, passed away September 21, 2013. During World War II, he served with the MIT Radiation Laboratory developing radar in support of the Nation's military. After earning his doctorate from Harvard University, he taught and conducted research at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and the University of Pittsburgh. From 1957 to 1966, he helped design the Isochronous Cyclotron at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.
