In Remembrance: Thomas Ward ’50 Died on August 16 2013

Thomas Ward Jr., 88, died on August 16, 2013. He worked at the Mene Grande Oil Co., Standard Oil of California, and for most of his career he was president of Oilfield Equipment Co. of New York City. He was also the U.S. representative for the Eastern & General Syndicate, London, and assistant to the president of the Gas Co. of Vermont. He had a long affiliation with the British Schools & Universities Foundation, holding offices over the years as secretary, president and chairman. He was known for sporting a bow tie, his life-long thirst for knowledge and his positive spirit.
