In Remembrance: Ellsworth Mason ’38, ’48PhD Died on October 14 2013

Ellsworth Mason, 96, died on October 14, 2013. After obtaining a PhD in English from Yale, he taught English literature at Williams College, Marlboro College and Colorado College, and lectured at a wide range of colleges and universities. He served as consultant in the planning of many library buildings, held two Architecture Awards and taught planning at the University of Illinois, School of Librarianship. His ten books and more than a hundred professional articles in four different fields were published in the U.S., England, Canada, Italy, France, Germany and Taiwan.
