Six alums named 2024 Fountainhead artists-in-residence

Miami-based arts nonprofit Fountainhead’s 2024 cohort of artists-in-residence includes six MFA program alums from the Yale School of Art. Artists spend a month creating work in Miami and are introduced to nationally recognized curators, collectors, and gallerists for one-on-one studio visits. Represented SoA alums span the 2024 residency cycle and include Zoe Walsh ’16MFA, in February; Natia Lemay ’23MFA, in May; Daniela Gomez Paz ’23MFA, in June; Victoria Martinez ’20MFA, in July; Catalina Ouyang ’19MFA, in August; and Adam Amram ’24MFA, in October—less than six months after graduation!

Save the date for 2024 open studios

The School of Art will host its annual graduate open studios on April 13 and 14. Featuring work from the Departments of Graphic Design, Painting/Printmaking, Photography, and Sculpture, open studios offers the public the opportunity to witness firsthand the working processes of the students at the School of Art. Studios will be open to the public at three buildings on Yale’s campus in downtown New Haven: 1156 Chapel Street, 353 Crown Street, and 36 Edgewood Avenue. Members of the public are also invited to view the 2024 Undergraduate Thesis Exhibition which will be installed in Green Hall Gallery at 1156 Chapel Street.
