The Co-Op shirt returns
The once famous Yale Co-Op shirt has become available again at the Yale Barnes & Noble store in New Haven. The button-down oxford, an icon of Ivy league fashion, was for six decades produced by New Haven shirtmakerGANT and sold at the Yale Co-Op, long known as the birthplace of the “Ivy League Look.” Although GANT stopped production of the iconic shirt in 2014, Yale’s Office of Marketing and Trademark Licensing reintroduced an updated version of it by working with Connecticut-based Vineyard Vines, which also sells it online.
