Five years ago, we showed you highlights from a remarkable collection of vintage Yale postcards assembled by former facilities department employee Pat Marino (“Wish You Were Here,” September/October 2021). At the time, Marino was looking for a permanent home for his cards. Since then, the Yale Club of Hartford has not only acquired the 1,000-card collection; they have scanned them and posted them online at yalepostcards.org. There you can browse by subject or by location, and compare the postcard views with recent photos from the same angle.
