ObituariesIn Remembrance: Carolyn Walch Slayman Died on December 27 2016Carolyn Walch Slayman, deputy dean for academic and scientific affairs at Yale School of Medicine, passed away on December 27, 2016, after a recurrence of breast cancer. She had been a faculty member and leader at the medical school for nearly 50 years, and was the first woman to head a department at the school.
