Tonight, Hillary Rodham Clinton ’73JD will accept her party’s nomination for president of the United States—the first woman and sixth Yale graduate to be a major party’s standard bearer. The university got a few shoutouts in a speech by her classmate Bill Clinton ’73JD at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday night: Clinton mentioned the Law School library (pictured) where they first met; the Art Gallery, where they had their first date; the Child Study Center and Yale–New Haven Hospital, where Hillary Clinton did volunteer work as a law student.
