Previous generations had Machine City, the subterranean oasis of vending machines between Sterling and Cross Campus Libraries. The modern equivalent is the Thain Family Café at Bass Library, where real live humans serve coffee, soups, and sandwiches. Tell us your memories of Machine City—or Thain's.
