More than a thousand people joined a march in New Haven yesterday to protest the killings of black Americans by law enforcement officers. The march began at noon on Broadway and progressed through the city and onto Interstate 95, where the demonstration stopped traffic in both directions. There were no arrests and no reported injuries.
