Throwback Thursday: class clowns

As the first of three reunion weekends gets under way, here’s a glimpse of Yale reunions 100 years ago. In those days, returning classes wore fanciful costumes—sailors, bakers, convicts, farmers—to their reunion parade. In 1922, the Class of 1912S and their children dressed in clown suits, one of them topping 15 feet on stilts.
