It’s been more than nine years since men's clothier J. Press had to vacate its historic York Street location after the weight of a record snowfall damaged the building. It was later torn down, and the shop moved to Chapel Street and later College Street. But last week, J. Press returned to its old neighborhood, taking over the Elm Street space recently occupied by TYCO Printing (which moved up the street). Sharp-eyed alums in town for reunions may have noticed that one of the display windows has Yankee Doodle Coffee Shop t-shirts—right in the spot where the Doodle once stood.
