A portrait of PauliYesterday, Pauli Murray College celebrated the unveiling of a mural by artist Mickalene Thomas ’02MFA in its dining hall. Made up of mosaic tiles, the work includes a portrait of the college's namesake, civil rights activist and priest Pauli Murray ’65JSD. “I love that the Pauli commemorated here is your age,” head of college Tina Lu said to the students on hand. "Look at this face and please feel in your souls that you have it in you to swing for the fences like Mickalene and Pauli.”
