Throwback Thursday: what, me worry?

When we think of Yale's Poynter Fellowship, we think of White House correspondents and managing editors. But 50 years ago, Poynter invited the staff of the satirical magazine MAD, which had just turned 21 years old, to visit the campus. For the article in our magazine about the visit, MAD artist Al Jaffee contributed a cartoon of MAD mascot Alfred E. Neuman as a Yale team captain.
