Throwback Thursday: inside Connecticut Hall

Nathan Hale slept here, as did countless other Yale students from 1750 until 1953, when Connecticut Hall was renovated as office, study, and meeting space. This photo of the interior—completely gutted except for its fireplaces—appeared in our April 1954 issue.
