Throwback Thursday: a special night at the Bowl

As the Special Olympics World Games wind up in Los Angeles this weekend, we recall the 1995 games in New Haven, when Yale welcomed more than 3,000 athletes and coaches from 141 countries to the campus. The opening ceremonies (shown here) were held in the Yale Bowl.
