Doctor of Nursing Practice graduates from the School of Nursing broke out the bubbles to celebrate Commencement today. Besides the 3,000-odd students awarded degrees today, Yale conferred honorary doctorates on ten people, including poet and professor Elizabeth Alexander ’84, actor Angela Bassett ’80, ’83MFA, and musician Willie Ruff ’54MusM. (We initially identified the grads pictured as from the engineering school—our apologies and congrats to all.) |
