New Haven will have a new mayor in January. Former alder Justin Elicker ’10MEM, ’10MBA (shown here at his victory party at a Jocelyn Square pizzeria) defeated three-term incumbent Toni Harp ’78MEnvD in a rematch of their September Democratic primary race. Elicker won the nomination; Harp ran yesterday on the Working Families party ticket. Yale sophomore Eli Sabin handily won election as the new alder in the city's Yale-dominated first ward.
