Your photo doesn't show the stone carving above the lamp of a Cigarette Beetle (Lasioderma serricorne) flanked by two grubs commonly referred to as "bookworms". Rumor has it that recent renovations have rendered this door inaccessible from the street.
That's correct! And yes, the Wall Street entrance is now only an emergency exit. But the York Street entrance is now accessible to the public.
