Today is opening day for Major League Baseball, a day that always brings to mind former Yale president and baseball commissioner A. Bartlett Giamatti ’60, ’64PhD. Giamatti is remembered at Yale with this memorial bench on the Old Campus. Read about allusions to baseball in its design here.
