It must be in honor of S F B Morse (look for the letters S (...) O (---) S (...)) Yale painter and developer of Morse code. Where? Others with sharper eyes will know but I speculate on one of the former Sheffield Scientific School buildings such as Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona.

You’re both right! It’s above the courtyard entrance to Sterling Tower, the middle part of the Sheffield-Sterling Strathcona trio.
