Better late then never

Yale welcomed back the Class of 2020—and, in some schools, the Class of 2021—for a procession and ceremony on Saturday to celebrate their pandemic-disrupted graduation. The ritual conferring of degrees was expressed in the past tense, and presidential fist bumps were the order of the day.
