The comment period has expired.The wrought iron pattern matches the interior staircase of Memorial Hall Rotunda [aka Woolsey Hall]. I believe this is the staircase on the north side, which fronts on Grove St.
<> This stairwell has always had globe light sconces. I don't understand the need for this new array. Perhaps this staircase now also accesses the new 3 storey annex to Commons that parallels Grove St. and therefore has much more foot traffic than before?
