Yale's oldest: Dwight Hall

This week we're looking at the five oldest Yale buildings still in existence. Today: Dwight Hall, completed in 1846. Originally built as the college library, it was the first of many Gothic buildings on campus. Its churchlike interior made it a natural for reuse as a chapel; it also houses the student organization that gave the building its current name.
