Forty years ago, in our June 1984 issue, we reported on a visit to campus by actor Vincent Price ’33 for a Film Study Center retrospective of his movies: “I don't know why people associate me with vampires,” says Price, in complete deadpan. “I've only played Dracula once. People come up to me on the street and say ‘Bite my neck.’” Lowering his chin, subtly changing the angle of his head and deepening the timbre of his voice, Price finishes the anecdote in rich parody of his “Master of Terror” persona. “So I do.”
