In memoriam

Former residents of Davenport College will remember this plaque near the college's Park Street gate, memorializing a favorite campus watering hole that moved to Chapel Street. (In case your Latin is rusty, the words at the bottom translate as "Where there is honey, there are bees.") Students from a couple of decades later might have christened it the Park Street Subs Gate.
