Today is election day in New Haven. Outside the New Haven Free Public Library, Norah Laughter ’26 and Elias Theodore ’27 and their supporters have set up shop for last-minute appeals to voters. Laughter and Theodore are running in the Democratic primary for the Ward 1 seat on the city's Board of Alders. Most of the residents of Ward 1 are Yale students living on Old Campus and in eight residential colleges.  |
