Throwback Thursday: listening to The Game

How are you going to follow The Game on Saturday? At a watch party? Streaming at home? One hundred years ago, in our December 4, 1925, issue, we showed this scene from the Yale Club of New York City, where alums gathered to listen to The Game on the radio while movements on the field were charted in real time by Rollin J. Furbeck ’97S and Lee de Forest ’96S—sometimes known as the father of radio.
