Happy New Year! In 1726, Elisha Williams began his 13-year tenure as rector of Yale College. In 1826, the number of graduating seniors topped 100 for the first time. In 1926, student attendance at daily chapel services became voluntary. What will 2026 bring for the university? We'll keep you posted.
