Throwback Thursday: Antarctic adventure

Ninety years ago, we featured polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth ’03S on our January 24, 1936, cover. Ellsworth and Herbert Hollick-Kenyon had just been rescued after being lost for nine weeks in the icy wastes of Antarctica. After the last few days in New Haven, we can kind of imagine.
