In the courtyard of the Divinity School's new Living Village, a sculpture called Confluence offers the soft sound of flowing water. The sculpture, a gift from Dean Greg Sterling and his wife Adrian Sterling, is the product of a 2024 design competition among students at the School of Architecture. The winning design, by Ellen Zhu ’26MArch, Julia Edwards ’26MArch, and Cole Quist ’26MArch, is about "people coming together and sharing space," Edwards said. The designers collaborated with New Hampshire sculptor Monti Ackerman on the piece. |
