Throwback Thursday: up on the roof

Our January/February 2018 issue includes a photo essay on Payne Whitney Gymnasium. Coincidentally, so did our January 1968 issue exactly 50 years before. This picture of the outdoor track on the gym's roof—which no longer exists—made us wonder when it fell out of use. Who remembers running on the roof?
