It took us decades to notice a row of creatures like this one atop a pair of campus gates. Are they donkeys? Mythical yales? Let us know what you think. And can you tell where we spotted them?

The comment period has expired.Mythical yales. I do not know the location. However, a row of wrought iron yales are seen in the indoor gate on the third floor of the Old Art Gallery. xYale 1928. YUAG. Old Art Gallery. Gates and Transom from the Third Floor of the Old Art Gallery 1928 Samuel Yellin, American, born Russia, 1884–1940. Wrought Iron .jpg ...Therefore I would guess this piece is another outdoor gate by Yellin at the Old Art Gallery.
