Yale's 24th presidentVia livestream this morning, Yale announced the appointment of Maurie McInnis ’96PhD as the university's next president, taking office on July 1. McInnis, who got her doctorate in art history at Yale, is currently president of Stony Brook University and a member of Yale's Board of Trustees. She is the first woman to lead the university on a non-interim basis and the first president chosen from outside Yale's faculty since 1986. Watch the announcement here and read more here.
