The recent deaths of former School of Architecture dean Robert A. M. Stern ’65MArch and former visiting faculty member Frank Gehry reminded us of this photo that appeared in our July/August 2004 issue. We hired photographer Mark Ostow to go up in a cherry picker (this was before drones, kids) and get a shot of a cocktail party in Stern's third-floor apartment on Chapel Street overlooking the Green. The occasion was the end of final reviews in the spring semester at the architecture school. Stern is third from left in the leftmost window. Gehry is at right in the center window, which also includes former deans Cesar Pelli and Thomas Beeby and Pritzker Prize winner Zaha Hadid.
