Doing good since 1886

Happy 140th anniversary to Dwight Hall! Founded in 1886 as a campus affiliate of the YMCA, the organization eventually took on the name of its building on Old Campus. When that building was torn down, Dwight Hall moved into its current home in the Old Library in 1930. Now known as Yale's Center for Public Service and Social Justice, Dwight Hall is home to more than 80 student-run groups and programs.
