The Beinecke Library has 14 color portraits of Black cultural figures by Carl Van Vechten from its James Weldon Johnson Memorial Collection on display in its windows. Shown here, left to right: Langston Hughes, Margaret Bonds, James Baldwin, Marian Anderson, Richard Wright, and Zora Neale Hurston. More here.
