Cosmetic surgery

This is not something we expected to see while headed down Tower Parkway yesterday: the shaft of Claes Oldenburg's Lipstick (Ascending) on Caterpillar Tracks on the back of a flatbed truck. The Art Gallery tells us that the sculpture, created in 1969 and housed in Morse College since 1974, is going offsite for conservation work.
